If you watch the show...and you cook a lot, you come to appreciate the value of not running to a germy can everytime you need to toss something. The design is reminscent of an old bowl her mother used to have (my mother used to have one, too), and they are actually quite collectable if you find an original. This one is useful and cute, and a real time saver in the kitchen. You can also double them as pop-corn, salad, chip, or mixing bowls. You can never have too many deep solid bowls in the kitchen. I like it. You'll use it a lot.
